Jakarta, March 17, 2026 – PT Jalin Pembayaran Nusantara (Jalin), part of Danantara through the Danareksa State-Owned Holding, supports the expansion of cardless cash withdrawal services for GoPay users through a strategic partnership with PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BRI) and PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat dan Banten Tbk (bank bjb).

This initiative comes ahead of the Eid al-Fitr 2026 holiday period, during which national mobility is projected to reach 143.9 million people. Through this collaboration, GoPay users can now withdraw cash without a card across the extensive ATM networks of BRI and bank bjb nationwide.

Amid the rapid growth of digital transactions, cash continues to play a vital role in daily economic activities—particularly in traditional markets, local transportation, and cultural practices such as festive giving in hometowns, which are often located outside major urban centers. Bank Indonesia projects that national cash demand during the Ramadan and Eid period will increase by approximately 15% year-on-year, with total currency in circulation exceeding IDR 185 trillion.

Kelvin Timotius, Head of GoPay Wallet, stated that this collaboration reflects GoPay’s commitment to expanding inclusive financial access across Indonesia. “This partnership significantly broadens GoPay’s cash withdrawal network. GoPay is not only a reliable digital payment tool, but also enables users to conveniently withdraw their balance at nearby BRI and bank bjb ATMs nationwide.”

He added that users can download the GoPay app to access a more comprehensive and secure range of financial services. With its lightweight design, the app offers various benefits, including up to 100 free instant transfers per month and affordable payments for routine bills such as mobile data packages and electricity tokens.

BRI’s Director of Information Technology, Saladin Dharma Nugraha Effendi, emphasized that BRI’s extensive infrastructure is a key enabler of this service. With more than 19,000 ATMs and CRMs across Indonesia, users can withdraw GoPay balances conveniently, securely, and seamlessly—even in areas far from urban centers.

“Through an open and integrated network approach, BRI continues to strengthen Indonesia’s digital financial ecosystem,” he said. He added that this infrastructure support ensures that travelers during the Eid homecoming period can maintain access to cash across various regions.

In addition, the interoperability system supports smooth and secure transactions, including integration with other banks’ ATM networks within the Link network. This interconnected system enables GoPay cash withdrawals to be faster, easier, and more reliable, further strengthening the national digital payment ecosystem.

Meanwhile, the partnership with bank bjb enhances access to cash in regions with high Eid travel mobility. Based on projections for Eid transportation in 2026, West Java is expected to be the largest origin of travelers, with more than 30 million people, as well as a major transit route to Central and East Java.

Ayi Subarna, Acting President Director of bank bjb, stated that this collaboration reflects bank bjb’s commitment to strengthening the digital ecosystem while delivering more inclusive transaction solutions for the public. With its extensive ATM network, this service provides added value for both GoPay users and bank bjb customers.

As an enabler behind the scenes, Jalin plays a critical role in ensuring interoperability within the digital payment ecosystem through the national cash point infrastructure.

Eko Dedi Rukminto, Director of Jalin, emphasized that Jalin’s role is to maintain optimal system interconnectivity, ensuring that every GoPay cash withdrawal transaction at BRI and bank bjb ATMs is conducted securely and seamlessly. “Going forward, this integration also opens opportunities to expand services across other banks within the Link ATM network, further enabling users to withdraw cash via GoPay anytime and anywhere,” he concluded.
