Jakarta, 6 March 2026 - PT Jalin Pembayaran Nusantara (Jalin), part of the Danantara ecosystem under the Danareksa State-Owned Enterprise Holding, collaborated with the Indonesian Banking Development Institute (LPPI) to hold a Mosque Financial Management Training Program at the LPPI Bumi Campus in Jakarta. The program brought together dozens of mosque administrators from the Greater Jakarta area to strengthen financial governance practices that are transparent, accountable, and responsive to the digital era.

During the holy month of Ramadan, mosques play an important role not only as places of worship but also as centers of social activities and community empowerment. Managing community funds in this context requires governance that is trustworthy, transparent, and accountable, especially as digital transactions become increasingly prevalent.

At the same time, the growing use of digital platforms has been accompanied by a rise in digital fraud. The Indonesia Anti-Scam Centre (IASC) recorded more than 343,402 reports of digital fraud cases between its establishment and November 2025, resulting in total losses of IDR 7.8 trillion. This emphasizes the need to strengthen financial literacy and vigilance in managing financial transactions, including within mosque communities.

Through this training program, Jalin and LPPI introduced participants to the use of official payment channels such as QRIS, improved financial recording and reporting practices, and practical guidance on identifying and preventing digital fraud schemes.

Participants, consisting of mosque board leaders, treasurers, secretaries, and administrators from 16 mosques in the Kemang Raya area, also took part in case-based simulation sessions designed to enhance their awareness of increasingly sophisticated fraud schemes.

As a digital enabler within Indonesia’s digital payment ecosystem, Jalin places digital financial literacy as a key focus within its Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives. This effort aligns with the government’s broader agenda to build a secure, inclusive, and sustainable digital financial ecosystem.

Jalin’s commitment is reflected through various annual CSR initiatives that cover digital financial literacy, MSME empowerment, community development, and environmental sustainability. Among these initiatives are Petualangan Inklusi (Inclusion Adventure) at the Bank Indonesia Museum during National Children’s Day, MSME empowerment through Spekta Kumpul Juwara in collaboration with Bukalapak, as well as environmental education and MSME development through the Purpose Market program.

The digitalization of payment systems presents new opportunities for safer, more transparent, and more professional financial management. With stronger digital financial literacy, mosque administrators are expected to manage community funds more effectively while reinforcing public trust in the management of religious social funds.
