Facilitating Bank Jatim's Audit: Strengthening Governance and Compliance in Payment System Infrastructure Services

Jakarta – As part of Jalin's commitment as a leading provider of payment system infrastructure in complying with regulations and compliance, Jalin facilitated an audit by Bank Jatim at its headquarters from March 4-8, 2024, in Kuningan, South Jakarta.

The 5-day audit aimed to ensure that Jalin fulfills its role as an ATM switching service provider for Bank Jatim effectively, in line with the scope of cooperation and the Good Corporate Governance of both parties.

The visit was attended by Wardhana Suryaatmaja, VP of Internal Audit at Bank Jatim, along with the Internal Audit Division, E-Channel & Card Center Reconciliation Division, and IT Planning & Governance Division. Ario Tejo Bayu Aji, Jalin's CEO, and the entire Board of Directors warmly welcomed the representatives from Bank Jatim.

"We welcome Bank Jatim's efforts to ensure compliance practices by its business partners and are ready to support throughout the audit process. As a Payment System Infrastructure Provider (PIP) part of the Danareksa BUMN holding, Jalin consistently applies principles of good, transparent, and sustainable governance to maintain the trust of all stakeholders," Ario stated.

Furthermore, Ario emphasized that compliance with all business and operational processes is crucial for Jalin as a key player in the financial industry. This also adds value to Bank Jatim as the largest Regional Development Bank (BPD) in East Java to strengthen its position as a trusted regional champion in Indonesia.

The evaluation results from the audit activities will serve as a basis for Jalin and Bank Jatim to enhance governance within both companies. "Jalin is prepared to take corrective actions if any audit findings align with the agreed-upon targets of both parties. This reflects our commitment to consistently provide safe, reliable, and trusted financial transaction services for all Jalin members, especially Bank Jatim," Ario concluded.
