Starting
April 2026, Jalin introduces Jalin Verified, a digital transaction
authentication solution that enables GPN debit cards to be used for online
shopping securely, conveniently, and with verification. This innovation expands
the functionality of GPN cards, which were previously limited to ATM and EDC
transactions, into a reliable payment instrument for domestic e-commerce.
By
adopting EMV® 3-D Secure technology, Jalin Verified provides an additional
layer of security for every digital transaction. The system verifies the
cardholder’s identity using methods such as One-Time Password (OTP) and
risk-based authentication, ensuring that transactions are carried out by
authorized users while reducing the risk of fraud and card misuse.
In
its initial phase, Jalin Verified is available for PaninBank customers and can
be used at selected online merchants affiliated with CIMB Niaga. This service
is offered at no additional cost to customers and will continue to expand to
more banks and merchants over time.
Can’t
find the GPN or Jalin Verified logo?
During
transactions, you may not see the GPN or Jalin Verified logo on the merchant’s
payment page. This is normal during the early implementation phase, as not all
merchants have yet displayed the logo or related communication materials.
However,
transactions are still processed through the Jalin Verified system and remain
secure. If you are redirected to a payment authentication page, it means you
are already in the correct transaction flow and can proceed as usual.
How
to transact using Jalin Verified
The
transaction process follows standard online payment procedures. After selecting
a product or service from a merchant, you can proceed to payment using your
debit card.
Steps:

Select
a product or service from an online merchant
·
Choose
debit card as the payment method
·
Enter
your Panin GPN debit card details (card number, cardholder name, registered
email, registered mobile number, expiry date, and CVV)
·
The
system will display an authentication page
·
Enter
the OTP sent via SMS
·
Once
the OTP is verified, the transaction will be processed and completed
Even
if the GPN or Jalin Verified logo is not displayed on the merchant’s page, the
process still runs with the same security mechanism.
