Jakarta – PT Jalin Pembayaran Nusantara (Jalin), part of the Danantara ecosystem, marked its 10th anniversary on Tuesday, November 3, with a Thanksgiving and Prayer Gathering held at its headquarters in Jakarta. Carrying the theme “Satu Dasawarsa Menghubungkan Negeri”, the occasion served as an opportunity to celebrate the company's journey while reaffirming its commitment to providing increasingly reliable national payment infrastructure.

Attended by members of Jalin's Board of Commissioners, Board of Directors, and employees, the celebration took place in a warm and solemn atmosphere. Beyond marking the company's anniversary, the occasion provided an opportunity to reflect on the achievements, challenges, and transformation that have shaped Jalin's growth over the past decade.

In his remarks, Jalin President Director Ario Tejo Bayu Aji highlighted that the company's growth over the past decade is reflected not only in the expansion of its organizational capacity but also in the broader scope of its role and responsibilities.

“Jalin has grown to three times its original organizational capacity. This growth has gone hand in hand with the expansion of the company's role and responsibilities within Indonesia's payment system landscape,” said Ario.

As Jalin continues to grow, so do the expectations placed upon the company. Evolving industry regulations, the need to optimize each business pillar, and increasingly intense competition require Jalin to continuously strengthen its capabilities while maintaining the trust of more than 120 members across the banking and financial technology sectors.

In addressing these challenges, Ario emphasized the importance of service excellence as one of Jalin's key strengths. He noted that service quality must be consistently reflected in system reliability, prompt responses, and the company's ability to address members' needs effectively.

“Members' trust must be earned through reliable services, prompt responses, and the ability to address their various needs. This is not solely the responsibility of teams that interact directly with members, but a commitment shared by every business unit,” Ario emphasized.

To support sustainable business growth and further strengthen its position, Jalin has identified three key priorities: strengthening its core business, embedding service excellence into its work culture, and fostering greater collaboration while cultivating a positive organizational culture.

In line with Danantara's commitment to serving stakeholders wholeheartedly, strong alignment and collaboration among the Board of Commissioners, Board of Directors, management, and all employees remain essential to sustaining growth, creating added value for the industry, and supporting the government's strategic agenda.

Growing Together and Creating Meaningful Impact

The spirit of giving was also an integral part of Jalin's 10th anniversary celebration. In collaboration with BSI Maslahat, Jalin symbolically handed over social assistance as a reflection of its commitment to supporting communities and creating a broader positive impact.

The assistance will be distributed through three programs covering economic empowerment, community development, and education. These include the Gerobak Maslahatpreneur program, which supports micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs); the Live In SMAIT Tunas Harapan program, which focuses on community-based social initiatives; and the JSIT Bekasi City Scholarship Program, which aims to support access to education.

The celebration also featured a joint prayer session, expressing gratitude for the journey so far and hopes for continued blessings and ease as Jalin carries out its responsibilities in the years ahead.

For Jalin, corporate success is measured not only by business growth and operational achievements but also by the tangible contributions the company makes to society. This value remains an integral part of Jalin's commitment to growing responsibly and creating meaningful benefits for the communities around it.

Moving Forward into the Next Decade

Jalin's first decade stands as a testament to the collective efforts, trust, and collaboration that have shaped the company into what it is today.

As Jalin enters its next decade, it remains committed to strengthening the foundations it has built. The challenges encountered along the way serve as opportunities to improve, enhance capabilities, and deepen collaboration, ensuring the company is better prepared to navigate the evolving national payment industry.

With the same spirit and commitment, Jalin will continue to strengthen its role as part of Indonesia's national payment infrastructure, connecting the nation and creating greater value for Indonesia.
