Bandung, March 17, 2025 – PT Jalin Pembayaran Nusantara (“Jalin”) has officially inaugurated its first Regional Office (RO) in Bandung as a strategic move to enhance coordination with Himbara banks, Regional Development Banks (BPD), Rural Banks (BPR), and cash management service providers (PJPUR) in West Java. Located at the Telkom Buah Batu Merah Putih Building, this office serves as a central coordination hub to support the seamless operations of banking institutions and strategic partners in the region.
The establishment of Regional Office Bandung ensures that transaction services remain optimal, particularly during peak banking activity periods. With more than 50,000 Himbara ATMs/CRMs connected to the Link Network, the presence of RO Bandung will expedite responses to technical and operational challenges, while bringing services closer to partners and customers. By having a geographically closer team, issues can be addressed more swiftly and efficiently.
Each year, financial transaction activities surge significantly ahead of Eid and national holiday periods. RO Bandung enables Jalin to respond more promptly to partners’ needs in ATM/CRM infrastructure management, coordination with PJPUR, and resolution of technical disruptions. This office also enhances Jalin’s flexibility in implementing adaptive solutions to on-ground challenges.
Beyond strengthening operational coordination, the presence of this regional office underscores Jalin’s commitment to building a more integrated payment ecosystem. RO Bandung serves as a bridge between Jalin and its LINK network member banks, BPDs, BPRs, and other strategic partners to provide efficient and reliable payment services that align with market demands.
Bandung was selected as the location for Jalin’s first Regional Office due to several strategic considerations. As West Java’s economic and business hub, the city records high financial transaction volumes, particularly during Eid and year-end holidays. Bandung is also home to numerous regional banking offices and PJPUR providers, allowing for faster service access and more effective coordination.
Additionally, the rapid development of the digital financial and banking ecosystem in West Java opens vast opportunities for collaboration with financial institutions, including Himbara banks, BPDs, and BPRs. The region’s demographic potential and strong technological innovation spirit align with Jalin’s vision of delivering a modern, reliable, and efficient payment system. With the establishment of this regional office, Jalin is optimistic about improving operational efficiency and strengthening its support for partners, especially during critical periods such as Eid and Christmas-New Year holidays.
The inauguration of RO Bandung marks the first step in Jalin’s expansion strategy to bring services closer to partners and accelerate business processes. Moving forward, Jalin plans to extend its Regional Office network to key cities such as Semarang, Surabaya, Yogyakarta, and Malang. Additionally, Jalin remains committed to continuously enhancing its operational capacity by implementing advanced technology, optimizing transaction network management, and strengthening security aspects in digital payment systems.
Through this initiative, Jalin is confident in its continued contribution to the advancement of Indonesia’s digital payment industry, further solidifying its position as a key driver in the national payment system ecosystem.
