Bank Mandiri Vice President Director’s Visit: Strengthening ATM Link Operational Readiness
Sep 23, 2024
Jakarta – Alexandra Askandar, Vice President Director of
PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk and Head of the Project Management Office (PMO)
for the ATM Consolidation Acceleration Team, visited Jalin’s office on Monday
(23/09). The purpose of the visit was to assess Jalin’s readiness for the
phased mass deployment of ATM Link. This effort is expected to enhance synergy
between state-owned enterprises (BUMN), particularly in banking services.
During the visit, Alexandra received a detailed briefing
from Jalin’s team about the technical and operational aspects of the ATM
migration. The presentation covered IT system upgrades, operations, and
customer service mechanisms to ensure a seamless transition. Jalin’s readiness
is critical to the success of this migration, as the services must run
optimally for all customers of the State-Owned Banks Association (Himbara),
which includes Bank Mandiri, BRI, BNI, and BTN.
Alexandra highlighted the significance of the ATM Link
integration as part of the broader transformation of national banking services.
“We are committed to executing the Ministry of SOEs’ mandate to strengthen
synergies between state-owned companies. Collaborating with Jalin on the ATM
Link integration is a strategic step that will bring substantial benefits to
Himbara customers while supporting the transformation of national banking
services,” said Alexandra.
The ATM Link consolidation aims not only to improve operational efficiency but also to promote more inclusive banking services. With a footprint optimization approach, Jalin ensures that ATM Link are distributed evenly across Indonesia, allowing customers to access banking services more easily in various regions, including remote areas. This initiative addresses the significant demand for cash transactions in Indonesia while maintaining operational efficiency for Himbara through integrated ATM Link management.
Jalin’s CEO, Ario Tejo Bayu Aji, reaffirmed Jalin’s
commitment to supporting Himbara through this integration. “Jalin is dedicated
to supporting Himbara in enhancing services and integrating ATM Link
operations. We strive to ensure the convenience and accessibility of
transactions, especially to meet the high demand for cash, by providing
top-quality service to Himbara customers across Indonesia,” Ario stated.
Earlier, in September 2023, Jalin successfully held the
Soft Launch of the ATM Link Integration and Rebranding, attended by the
Minister of SOEs, Erick Thohir. This event marked a new chapter for Jalin as
the operator of the largest ATM network for state-owned banks in Indonesia,
further solidifying its role as a digital enabler connecting the public to
financial and non-financial ecosystems, in line with its vision of “The
National Digital Highway.”
Through this integration, Himbara will be able to
focus more on banking service innovations, improving customer experiences. This
initiative is expected to pioneer the transformation of banking services in
Indonesia, while also supporting efforts to boost national financial inclusion.
