Facilitating the Digital Health Service Users in Making Payments, KlikDokter and Jalin Synergizes an Integrated Digital Payment System

JAKARTA, May 10, 2023 – PT Medika Komunika Teknologi (“KlikDokter”) recently entered into an agreement on the integration of transaction payments with the technology-based financial services company, PT Jalin Pembayaran Nusantara (“Jalin”), during the annual event of Digital Economy and Finance Festival (FEKDI) 2023 held by Bank Indonesia and Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia on May 7-10, 2023.

This strategic collaboration is expected to facilitate user transaction payment prior to benefiting from various health services provided by KlikDokter, from online consultation with doctors and psychologists to prescribed medication collection and home delivery. KlikDokter also helps Jalin and its members to book thousands of health facilities available in the KlikDokter ecosystem.

The initiatives for KlikDokter and Jalin’s cooperation began upon realizing the need to provide additional health digital services to diversify digital economic transaction options, thus making it easier for users, including Jalin and its members, to explore various services available in KlikDokter.

KlikDokter regards Jalin as a key partner for having the same vision and spirit to deliver convenient digital health services right in the palm of our hands. Jalin itself has been widely known as a payment service provider operating since 2016 with 40 company members consisting of various banking and financial technology institutions in Indonesia. In addition, Jalin is a member of the Indonesia Payment System Association (ASPI).

“We definitely welcome and are optimistic about this cooperation because both KlikDokter and Jalin share the same hope,” said the President Director of KlikDokter, Hendra Tjong. Later on, all KlikDokter users will be able to choose a variety of transaction payments both on the website and application.

Commercial Director of Jalin, Eko Dedi Rukminto, explained that the cooperation between Jalin and KlikDokter is a necessity which proves that technology has granted numerous tangible benefits in health services, particularly following the pandemic era in Indonesia. Digital service provision by KlikDokter constitutes one of the API (Application Programming Interface) services namely Management e-Healthcare Solutions which enables Jalin members to access telemedicine services, such as teleconsultation and telepharmacy provided by KlikDokter on the Jalin platform.

“Upon the revocation of restrictions by the government, we identify an opportunity for telemedicine services to remain relevant to the public and useful to help them tackle geographic, distance, and time barriers. We hope that this digital health service can provide society with convenience and benefits, and is easy and quick to access by all Jalin members,” added Eko.

Not only that, Jalin also signed a number of cooperation agreements with other technology-based companies, such as Ayoconnect for Biller Aggregator service, as well as LinkAja, GDCPay, and E2Pay for Cross Border QRIS and Domestic QRIS services during FEKDI 2023. “Aside from the cooperation with KlikDokter, Jalin will continue to synergize with various banking and non-banking institutions in the future, including technology-based companies to develop more digital products that Indonesian people can enjoy using as needed,” stated Eko.
