Strategic Cooperation between Jalin and ShopeePay Drives Digital Economy Growth

Jakarta - PT Jalin Pembayaran Nusantara (''Jalin''), part of the state-owned holding company Danareksa, established a strategic partnership with PT AirPay International Indonesia (''ShopeePay'') for the utilization of payment technology using Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (''QRIS'') in the ''Link'' network.

The signing ceremony which was held on Friday (22/03) was officiated by Jalin's Commercial Director, Eko Dedi Rukminto, and ShopeePay Indonesia's Head of Business and Partnership, Eka Nilam Dari while emphasizing ShopeePay's position in using the infrastructure managed by Jalin to connect with more than 50 members managed by Jalin from the banking and fintech sectors.

In line with the #ShopeeAdaUntukIndonesia commitment, ShopeePay, as a digital payment service provider, is determined to continue to expand access to financial digitization for business people, especially Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), and consumers throughout Indonesia. Currently, the MSME sector is the main driving force in the Indonesian economy, with more than 65 million MSMEs contributing 61 percent of the national Gross Domestic Product (''GDP'') and absorbing 97% of the labor force.
