2017 Strategic Initiative

Business Initiative of ATM Switching Services ATM Switching services was initiated with the acquisition of ATM Switching Link business through a Business Transition Agreement between PT Sigma Cipta Caraka and PT Jalin Pembayaran Nusantara, signed on February 24, 2017. The agreement came into effect on March 31, 2017, followed by request to get license of Switching and Clearing ATM Organizer Principal that was realized on February 27, 2017. Subsequently, Jalin started the service’s operational activities on April 1, 2017 in accordance with the time corridor stipulated by Bank of Indonesia. In 2017 in order to expand the business scale of Jalin in the future, management has made various steps to increase the number of ATM Link members, which not only rely on customers from Himbara but also from Himbara group and other banks. As the initial stage, the Company has signed an MoU Cooperation of Link Network Service with BRI Syariah and BCA. Involvement in National Payment Gateway/Gerbang Pembayaran Nasional (NPG). The National Payment Gateway (NPG) is an initiative of Bank of Indonesia (BI) to integrate various payment channels in order to facilitate various electronic payment transactions in Indonesia. It is intended that APMK (Alat Pembayaran Menggunakan Kartu), electronic money and e-Commerce transactions are processed domestically using National standard, infrastructure and cards. Jalin actively joined in NPG formulation forums since early 2017 until NPG was launched on December 4, 2017. Jalin’s engagement on NPG includes: 1). Become a member of the Asosiasi Sistem Pembayaran Indonesia (ASPI) which serves as the NPG Standards Institute, 2). Become one of the NPG Switching Institute, and 3). Become one of the shareholders of PT Penyelesaian Transaksi Elektronik Nasional (PT PTEN) which acts as the NPG Services Agency. Debit Switching Initiative To achieve the implementation of Debit Switching services, Jalin has done several stages of development, such as obtaining permission as principal, development of On Network Debit services, and development for interconnection of NPG domestic debit. This Debit Switching service is fully operational along with the launched of NPG on December 4, 2017.
